Jeda Media Group is growing and looking for an experienced editor/shooter with a next level creative ability!
Must be knowledgeable using Adobe After-Effects, Final Cut Pro (7) Adobe Premier and Photoshop. We are looking for a team player, self-starter, highly motivated individual who can work well with clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
o Strong video editing experience 5
years of Adobe Premeire and Final Cut Pro experience.
o Motion graphics experience (e.g. Apple Motion, After Effects, Mocha)
o Ability to operate professional cameras/DSLR systems and experience capturing quality audio.
o Ability to handle heavy workloads, including schedule changes
o Ability to work on tight deadlines
o Domestic travel required
o General production and/or director experience a big plus; the ideal candidate will have the ability to work at multiple stages of the production process as well as contribute creatively
Responsibilities:
o Participate and contribute during the planning stages: understand the story, the product, and product features
o Plan for (and guide shooting) to create title sequences, B-roll, graphics sequences
o Attend daily and weekly debrief sessions; continue to collaborate with the team on evolution of the story
o Plan and perform post-production tasks, including: ingest footage, review footage, video logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing using Adobe Premeire and Final Cut Pro
Organizational skills are required and some travel will be expected. This is a full-time, salary position, 401K.
Minimum 5 years work experience required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
