Job Description:
As a House Manager for Milestone Decisions Inc.
, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the facility and the well-being of our residents.
Your primary responsibilities will involve monitoring and maintaining various aspects of the facility, overseeing staff, and assisting in client care and development.
You will report directly to and work closely with the Administrator, QIDP, and Executive Director.
Wages:
This position starts at $19.
00 per hour for the first 12 months, after that, the wage will increase to $20.
00 per hour.
Job Duties:
Payroll and Budget Management:
Monitor and maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Communicate effectively with the Business Manager regarding APL (Additional Pay Level) requests.
Compile receipts and prepare monthly budget reports for submission to the Business Office Manager no later than the 5th of each month.
Staff Scheduling and Supervision:
Take charge of scheduling staff, ensuring proper coverage with medication passers, CPR-certified, and Mandt-certified staff during shifts.
Provide daily supervision of staff, offering support, addressing questions and concerns, and promoting a positive work environment.
Assist staff in completing orientation and in-service training.
Client Care and Support:
Assist with the assessment of individual client strengths and needs.
Support the QIDP in arranging and conducting training meetings.
Collaborate with the QIDP to implement treatment plans and individual programs.
Monitor the implementation of individual programs and progress, reporting to the QIDP regularly.
Facility Maintenance and Management:
Ensure a safe and home-like environment for residents, promptly reporting any property damage and contacting property management/owners for maintenance issues.
Maintain client training records and all necessary forms and data sheets.
Community Integration and Transportation:
Plan and develop the monthly Community Integration Plan.
Oversee vehicle maintenance and safe driving practices; report any vehicle issues to the office manager.
Coordinate transportation for residents, ensuring medical appointments are scheduled, attended, and documented appropriately.
Communication and Reporting:
Regularly communicate with key stakeholders, including Tammy, QIDP, Administrator, and Executive Director, regarding concerns, staffing issues, and questions.
Immediately notify the Administrator of any suspicions of abuse.
Keep abreast of Milestone Decisions policies and procedures, as well as the Res Hab Policies.
Miscellaneous Duties:
Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent issues outside regular working hours.
Conduct and coordinate grocery shopping for residents to meet dietary needs.
Supervise and coordinate pre-vocational activities and supplies.
Schedule and oversee recreational activities for residents.
Provide new driver training when needed.
Step in to provide direct care as needed to maintain safe staff-to-client ratios.
Conduct timely investigations of incidents and complete all IR investigations on Setworks within one week of submission.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year experience as a shift lead, or 6 months experience in the house you are applying for, or 1-year relevant experience.
A drive for community integration and to enhance individuals' daily lives.
Ability to communicate ideas both in writing and verbally.
Ability to cooperate and get along with staff, peers, supervisory team, consultants, and guardians.
